What is FastBound?

FastBound is a cloud-based firearms compliance platform that manages your electronic bound book (Acquisitions & Dispositions record), handles ATF Form 4473 processing and storage, and tracks NICS background checks. It is the compliance backbone of your CloudFFL system.

What FastBound Does

  • Electronic A&D Bound Book — Every firearm that enters or leaves your shop is recorded. FastBound replaces your paper-based bound book with a searchable, digital record that is always up to date.
  • 4473 Form Processing — When a customer buys a firearm, FastBound manages the ATF Form 4473 workflow, including digital submission, storage, and retrieval.
  • NICS Background Checks — FastBound tracks the National Instant Criminal Background Check System results for every firearm transfer, including the NTN (NICS Transaction Number).
  • ATF Audit Readiness — Your records are organized, searchable, and always available for ATF Industry Operations Inspector (IOI) visits.

How You Access FastBound in CloudFFL

You do not need to log into a separate website. FastBound is built directly into your CloudFFL (Odoo) interface. Look for the FastBound menu in the top navigation bar. From there you can access:

  • Products — View compliance products and serial numbers
  • Partners — Manage FFL partner records linked to FastBound
  • Acquisitions — Transfer In, Trade-In, Direct Buy, and All Inbound records
  • Dispositions — Sale Orders, Deliveries, and Pull 4473 Orders
  • Trade Credits — Customer Credits and Transactions
  • Reports — Stock Comparison, Product Inventory, and Serial Audits
  • Configuration — FastBound Accounts, Webhook History, and Reference Data
Tip: Think of FastBound as your compliance partner. CloudFFL handles the business side (sales, inventory, purchasing), and FastBound handles the ATF compliance side (bound book, 4473s, background checks). They work together automatically so you do not have to enter information twice.

Why It Matters

As a Federal Firearms Licensee, you are legally required to maintain accurate records of every firearm that passes through your business.
