The Buy Route

The Buy route tells CloudFFL that when you need more of a product, it should be purchased from a vendor. This is the standard route for almost everything an FFL dealer stocks.

Setting the Buy Route on a Product

1. Open the product record.
2. Go to the Inventory tab.
3. Under Routes, check Buy.
4. Save.

Reordering Rules

You can set up reordering rules to have CloudFFL automatically remind you when stock is low:

1. On the product form, click the Reordering Rules smart button (or go to Inventory → Operations → Replenishment).
2. Click New.
3. Set Minimum Quantity — when stock drops to this number, trigger a reorder suggestion.
4. Set Maximum Quantity — order enough to bring stock up to this number.
5. Save.

Example: You set a reordering rule for 9mm ammo: Min = 10 boxes, Max = 50 boxes. When you drop to 10 boxes, CloudFFL suggests ordering 40 more.
