Product & Inventory Reports
CloudFFL's product inventory report gives you a high-level view of your compliance inventory, aggregated by your chosen grouping. While the Stock Comparison and Serial Audit focus on individual serial numbers, the Product Inventory report answers bigger-picture questions like "How many Glock pistols do we have?" or "What's our total rifle inventory?"
Accessing the Product Inventory Report
- Go to FastBound → Reports → Product Inventory.
- Select a grouping option for how you want the data organized. The available options are: Manufacturer (default), Item Type, Caliber, Manufacturer + Type, or Manufacturer + Model. You select one grouping option per report.
- Click Generate to produce the report.
What the Report Shows
For each grouping (e.g., Glock / Pistol / G19 Gen5, depending on your selected grouping option), the report shows:
- Available: Firearms currently in stock and not pending any transaction
- Pending Disposal: Firearms that are part of an open sales order or transfer but have not yet left your inventory
- Disposed: Firearms that have been sold, transferred, or otherwise left your inventory
Using Grouping Options
Choose the grouping option that best answers your question:
- "How many Glock pistols do we have in stock?" → Use the Manufacturer + Type grouping and look for Glock / Pistol
- "What shotguns have we sold this month?" → Use the Item Type grouping and review the Shotgun row
- "What's our inventory by caliber?" → Use the Caliber grouping to see totals broken down by caliber
- "Show me everything by a specific manufacturer and model" → Use the Manufacturer + Model grouping
Exporting Reports
You can export the product report for your records:
- Click the Export button (or use Odoo's built-in list export feature)
- Choose your format (Excel or CSV)
- Save the file for your records, insurance documentation, or accountant

Tip: Export and save a copy of your Product Inventory report at the end of each month. This gives you a historical record of your inventory levels over time, which is useful for business planning and proves your compliance diligence to ATF inspectors.
