Walk-In Direct Buys
Walk-In Direct Buys
A direct buy is when someone walks into your shop and wants to sell you a firearm outright for cash. Unlike a trade-in, the seller is not looking to apply credit toward another purchase — they just want to be paid. CloudFFL's Direct Buy workflow handles the acquisition, payment, acquisition and accountingpurchase order creation in onea step.multi-step process.

Tip: The Direct Buy form internally records the transfer type as direct_buy. You can find all direct buy records under FastBound → Acquisitions → All Inbound Records and filter by type.
Important: Even though the seller is not a licensed dealer, you are still required to record this acquisition in your bound book. CloudFFL does this automatically through FastBound, but make sure you collect proper identification from the seller and keep their contact information on file.
