Connecting Your NMI Account
Connecting Your NMI Account
To process payments through CloudFFL, you need to connect your NMI merchant account. This is a one-time setup.
What You Need
- An active NMI merchant account (provided by your payment processor)
- Your NMI Security Key (sometimes called API Key) — found in your NMI merchant console
Finding Your NMI Security Key
- Log in to your NMI merchant console at
https://secure.networkmerchants.com - Go to Settings → Security Keys
- Copy your existing key, or click Add a Key to generate a new one
- Keep this key secure — it grants access to process payments on your account
Configuring NMI in CloudFFL
- In CloudFFL, go to Settings → Payment Providers (or Invoicing → Configuration → Payment Providers)
- Select NMI from the list
- Paste your Security Key in the API Key field
- Set the State to Test Mode first to verify the connection
- Click Save
Important: Start in Test Mode to confirm everything works before going live. Test Mode uses NMI's sandbox — no real charges are made.
Tip: If you do not have an NMI account yet, contact your payment processor or CloudFFL support to get set up.
