Installing Apps & Modules

CloudFFL comes pre-configured with the apps you need for running an FFL dealership. But if you ever need to add more features, here is how to install additional apps.

What Are Apps?

In Odoo 18, each major feature is an "app" that can be installed or removed. Your core apps include:

  • Sales — Quotations, sales orders, customers
  • Purchase — Purchase orders, vendor management
  • Inventory — Stock management, transfers, receiving
  • Contacts — Customer and vendor records
  • Invoicing — Invoices, payments, accounting basics

How to Install an App

  1. Go to the Apps menu from the app grid (or Settings → Apps).
  2. Browse or search for the app you want.
  3. Click Install on the app card.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete (usually a few seconds).
  5. The new app icon appears on your home screen.

Important: Only administrators can install apps. If you do not see the Apps menu, ask your admin to install what you need.

Tip: CloudFFL has already been set up with the right apps for your business. You should not need to install anything extra unless you want to add features like a website, email marketing, or project management. When in doubt, ask your CloudFFL support contact first.
