Scheduling Carrier Pickups
If your carrier picks up packages from your location, you can schedule those pickups directly from CloudFFL instead of calling the carrier or using their website.
Scheduling a Pickup
- Open the ShipStation app.
- Go to Operations > Pickups.
- Click Create.
- Fill in the details:
- ShipStation Instance — Select your connected account
- Carrier — Select which carrier is picking up (e.g., UPS, FedEx)
- Warehouse — Select which location the pickup is from
- Pickup Date — The date you want the pickup
- Pickup Window — The time range when someone will be available (e.g., 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Total Packages — How many packages are going out
- Total Weight — The combined weight of all packages
- Special Instructions — Any notes for the driver (e.g., "Ring doorbell, packages are in the back")
- Click Schedule Pickup.
After Scheduling
Once the pickup is confirmed, you will see:
- A confirmation number from the carrier
- The status changes to "Scheduled"
Canceling a Pickup
If your plans change, you can cancel a scheduled pickup:
- Open the pickup record.
- Click the Cancel Pickup button.
- The status changes to "Cancelled."
Important: Cancel pickups as early as possible. Some carriers charge fees for missed or late-cancelled pickups.
