Scheduling Carrier Pickups

If your carrier picks up packages from your location, you can schedule those pickups directly from CloudFFL instead of calling the carrier or using their website.

Scheduling a Pickup

  1. Open the ShipStation app.
  2. Go to Operations > Pickups.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Fill in the details:
    • ShipStation Instance — Select your connected account
    • Carrier — Select which carrier is picking up (e.g., UPS, FedEx)
    • Warehouse — Select which location the pickup is from
    • Pickup Date — The date you want the pickup
    • Pickup Window — The time range when someone will be available (e.g., 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
    • Total Packages — How many packages are going out
    • Total Weight — The combined weight of all packages
    • Special Instructions — Any notes for the driver (e.g., "Ring doorbell, packages are in the back")
  5. Click Schedule Pickup.

After Scheduling

Once the pickup is confirmed, you will see:

  • A confirmation number from the carrier
  • The status changes to "Scheduled"

Canceling a Pickup

If your plans change, you can cancel a scheduled pickup:

  1. Open the pickup record.
  2. Click the Cancel Pickup button.
  3. The status changes to "Cancelled."

Important: Cancel pickups as early as possible. Some carriers charge fees for missed or late-cancelled pickups.
